Liquid Soapmaking Part 2
Well…finally, I am posting again. Here is part 2 to making liquid soap.
#1. To the above batch of handmade soap paste I start the dilution process by adding hot water at a rate of 12 oz per pound of paste. Let it sit overnight.
#2 In the morning, most of the handmade soap paste has diluted. What is left can easily be heated up and incorporated into the soap stock.
#4. Once, I’ve got the liquid soap, then I use my ph meter to check ph and start the process of tweeking the ph to where it needs to be. Fragrance is added to the warmed liquid soap. I’ve simplified things here but you get the drift.
#5. The final product is a nice clear liquid soap.
